Polen -EU
Since 2004 Poland has been a member of the European Union. What is the state of the country, nearly 10 years after the Polish accession? What does the EU-membership mean for the Polish national democracy and the European democracy?

On the 25th of March we will go more in-depth on the issue of Poland and the European democracy. Are there any conflicts between the national and European democracy? What lessons can be learned from the Polish case? Sidonia Jędrzejewska, member of the European Parliament and prof. Leszek Jesień will elaborate on the European democracy in Poland and the EU.

Due to the rapid and intensive political integration more and more powers are handed over to Brussels. Dutch politicians shudder to hand over more sovereignty, but how do Polish politicians see this issue? Do they have any trust in the European Union and its democracy? How do they view their own democracy in relation to the European democracy? And what are the views of the Polish people on these topics? How do they see the European future?
