Once again The Hague is the setting for the ‘V4 Business Women Congress’ on International Women’s Day, 8th of March, to be held this year in the Promenade Hotel.
On 8th of March, 2014, the initiator, Kasia Nowak, is looking forward to welcoming some 300 women from V4-countries: Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Never before have so many businesswomen from Central Europe congregated to help other women with their careers or entrepreneurship.
They will share their knowledge and experience during lectures and workshops. International research shows that women in Central Europe are very ambitious and hold top positions more frequently than women in the Western world.
During the BWC 2014 experienced businesswomen will share their experience, knowledge and networks with hundreds of women who aspire to similar careers.
Our visitors will be inspired by a workshop by drs.Tatiana Wijnberg-Kratochvil. She fled to The Netherlands in 1968, graduated as clinical psychologist and followed a career as psychotherapist and author. Dorota Klop-Sowinska will be with us again; she has been working as a coach and career advisor for a number of years.
The congress is an initiative by Kasia Nowak, the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy, OTTO Work Force and the Hungarian Business Network. In addition, the event is supported, inter alia, by the embassies of the V4-countries (Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) as well as the Municipality of The Hague.
