INVIATITON: Noord Polen en Noord Nederland – Doing business together
The Economic and Commercial Section of the Polish Embassy in The
Hague together with the Chambers of Commerce Leeuwarden, Groningen and
Meppel invite you to the presentation of the Western Pomerania region.
Western Pomerania is located in the north-western part of Poland and in
terms of distance is the closest Polish region to Noord Nederland. It
can be also a close partner in business for many Dutch small and medium
sized enterprises. Until recently associated solely with the
shipbuilding industry and agriculture, today the region can meet the
expectations of business communities in various branches, including
those of new technologies.
The seminar will take place during the Bedrijven
Contactdagen voor Friesland at WTC/FEC in Leeuwarden on the 21st of
March at 16.00-17.00 hours (the KamerCafé in the Frankenhal).
The presentation will be focused on the cooperation possibilities in
the following sectors: machines for the agriculture sector,
construction, water treatment, food-processing, boats and yachts,
furniture.
Program:
16.00 – 16.05 Welcome address by Mr. Henryk Rupnik, Deputy Marshal of the Western Pomerania Region
16.05 – 16.15 Presentation of the economic potential of the region: Mr. Janusz Piórkowski and Mrs. Dorota Matulewicz, Marshal’s Office of the Western Pomerania Region
16.15 – 16.30 Business opportunities: Mr. Janusz Gawroński, Director of the Investor Assistance Centre
16.30 – 17.00 Cooperation possibilities in particular sectors: Western Pomerania Chamber of Commerce
The presentations will we held in English.
The seminar will be followed by a reception – you will have the
chance to try some Polish products and discuss the cooperation
possibilities with the representatives of the business organizations
and with the provincial authorities of Western Pomerania.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, His Excellency Mr. Jan Michałowski
will participate in the opening ceremony of the Bedrijven Contactdagen.
He will also address the business community of Friesland during the
reception between 17.00 and 19.00 hours.
Poland will be present at the stands number 19-20 during the entire Bedrijven Contactdagen voor Friesland on the 21-22 March.
