A British weekly „The Economist” has published a 12-pages survey of Poland, with articles about The Accidental Goverment, Spy games, booming economy and about a country on a run.

Some quotes:
• „Poland has become modern and prosperous on a scale that some still find surprising.”
• „Migration and unemployment are big topics in the Polish media.”
• „The biggest challenge facing Poland is (…) the private sector is
increasingly able to compete with the rest of the world. Wheras the
public sector, wasteful and expensive, is not. That is one reason why
up to a milion Poles are now working abroad.”

Listen to an interview with the author Edward Lucas on The Economist site :
“For the first time in Poland’s history there is really no reason why the country can’t thrive and prosper.”
